Larry Eksten - Owner
Owner of Eksten Autoworks since 1974. Involved with road racing since 1980. Expertise in engine building, primarily BMW’s and Porsche’s. Crew chief and Engine builder for teams in S.C.C.A., IMSA, HSR, PCA and BMW Club Racing.
Mark Eksten - Technician
Working at Eksten’s since 2001. Technician in many areas. In charge of the chassis dynamometer operations. Races in S.C.C.A club racing and other organizations. Started out working as crew for an HSR Endurance Porsche Team and now currently working and managing Porsche efforts in PCA, IGT and track days for multiple clients.
Rick Hoyt - Technician
Has been with Eksten’s since 1983. Expert technician in all fields of repair. Race car preparation, suspension setups and tuning. Pit crew for numerous teams involved in endurance racing.
Joseph Ferrante - Technician
Started at Eksten Autoworks as a college intern in 2025. Currently works as a technician in the shop and at the track. Involved in all areas of vehicle service and repair. Travels with the team to track events, supporting race prep, maintenance, and on-site repairs. Expertise in modern automotive and computer systems. With Joe's ability to learn quickly and automotive knowledge combined with computer technology he has quickly become an essential part of Eksten's success moving forward.
